Dear Classmates:
We are excited to invite you to our 60th Reunion, to be held on Aug. 8-11, 2023, in Colorado Springs. In addition to the cup-turning ceremony on Wednesday, we will also dedicate the new Leadership Challenge Tower in honor of Ron Fogleman on Thursday morning. That night we will have our banquet at the Marriott. This reunion is designed to be short, sweet and memorable. Of course, the main attraction of the gathering is to visit with old friends and classmates.
Included below is a link to this meaningful moment in our lives. It will take you to the reunion registration page. On that page, you will find two links: one, to the Schedule of Events, and another to the Marriott hotel. If you do not have room reservations yet, please make them ASAP. We need to know soon if we should increase our block of discounted rooms.

If you’d like to add to your reunion registration please use the link at the top of your registration receipt. If you need to change an item , cancel your registration, or simply need assistance, please contact AFR (757-625-6401) between 8am & 5pm EST, Monday through Friday.
Our squadron reps have done a trial run on the registration page, and everything has been working smoothly. Be careful with auto-fill; it might add info where it is not wanted. So, check each line as you go through the form. When you complete the registration (that is, submit it with your credit card), you will receive a receipt. The receipt will include a link to add additional guests and meals. However, if you need to cancel something, you’ll need to call the number at the bottom of the receipt.
As a heads-up, we will follow this eblast with another invitation sent through the Squadron Reps network. It is an effort to ensure all of our classmates receive the notice of our reunion. If it is redundant for you, that means the AOG has your correct email address. This letter will also include a special invitation to our Next of Kin families.
We encourage those who can still travel to join us in August. Realistically, it will be one of our last chances to gather with our classmates and, together, turn the cups of our departed. We may be able to Zoom the cup-turning ceremony; but at a minimum, the ceremony will be recorded and placed on our class website.
We have recently learned of three other events that might be of interest to some of you. First, the Acceptance Day parade for the Class of 2027 will be early on Wednesday morning (the 9th). Second, the inurnment of Angie Fryer (Tom’s wife) will take place at 1030 on Friday (the 11th). And, third, the AOG will hold the Distinguished Graduate banquet on Saturday night (the 12th). The local committee will not be making any arrangements for these events; however, if you are planning to attend the inurnment and reception on Friday, please let Vic Thacker know how many people in your party will attend.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact any of us or your Squadron Representative. We look forward to seeing you in a few months!
